About the event

Have a go at writing or drawing something imaginative about your musical memories, your favourite sounds outdoors or indoors, something that makes you want to sing, dance, smile.


Sign up for the 30-minute workshop on Saturday morning at the Writing That Sings bunting table (entrance to Leek Loves Books festival at SMDC) or book in advance by emailing leeklovesbooks@gmail.com


Ticket price: £5 - please bring cash on the day or pay in advance at the Leek Loves Books at Outside Arts stall in the Butter Market every Wednesday during May.


Prior to the event, meet Alison at the Writing that Sings stall inside Moorlands house where everyone is welcome to add a musical memory to the bunting display we'll grow from your imaginative ideas 10-12 on Saturday 7th June. FREE.


Tickets now live for our Writing that Sings full-length 1.5 hour writing workshop and the evening premiere of an audio play Om, Pom, Pom about the seaside.
